3kW On-Grid Solar System – How it works
This is an on-grid (grid-tie) solar system, which means it is connected directly to your electricity board (EB) supply. It does not require batteries, making it:
- More affordable than hybrid or off-grid systems.
- Low maintenance – no battery replacement costs.
- Highly efficient for daytime loads and net-metering benefits.
When your system generates more power than you use, the excess is exported to the grid as per your state’s net-metering policy, giving you credits on your bill.
